What’s your favorite kind of candy? ▪️ Usually I’m all about chocolate but I made an except for these super cute frog gummies that Disney gave out while Ashley Elston was signing ARCs of 10 Blind Dates at BookExpo. ▪️ I’m hoping to get to this one later this month. We’ll see! If July was a busy month, then August is shaping up to just be a weird one. Lots of things happening. Lots of important insights and realizations. ▪️ August 12 will be my blogs twelfth birthday. And earlier this month was the sixteenth anniversary of starting my first ever library job (as a part time shelving page in high school). Plus I hit five years as a full-time ya librarian in June. I feel like my word for the month of August is “weird.” Every week I feel like I’ve been saying how weird things are and I’m still not sure why.
