What are you reading today? 📚 Have you read any books by Taylor Jenkins Reid yet? I’ve heard friends raving about her for years and I have to say it seems like she just keeps getting better. I am all in for this oral history about the meteoric rise and sudden fall of a rock band in the late 1970s. 📚 #instabooks #currentlyreading #amreading #instareads #lovereading #bookworm #bookblogging #bookblogger #bookstagrammer #bibliophile #booklove #bookphotography #instabook #reading #reader #booktography #bookstagram #beautifulbooks #booksofinstagram #goodreads #bookaholic #bookish #bookishfeature #bookstafeatures #bookstagramfeature #readersofinstagram #unitedbookstagram #daisyjonesandthesix #taylorjenkinsreid #bookmark

How My Week Went:

This has been such a weird week! I am the type of person who reads my weekly horoscope and this week’s was really spot on–like freakishly so–as were the tarot readings I did for myself. I prefer to tell others about obvious signs from the universe while ignoring any that may directed at me so it was a bit unsettling but I’m trying to lean in. I also got so many compliments this week–people telling me I’m charming or charismatic, competent, and even cute or gorgeous. It was quite the boost and a feeling I’m going to try to keep in my heart moving forward.

What I Read:

I finished a re-read of All These Things I’ve Done by Gabrielle Zevin and have moved on to the second book Because It Is My Blood. It’s an absolute all time favorite series and I’m happy to report it still holds up. I tried Serpent & Dove by Shelby Mahurin (which I was so so excited to read) but it didn’t work for me. But that’s okay because then I picked up Daisy Jones & The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid and hi, I’m now obsessed. I have talked about it to no fewer than five different coworkers in the past week. Right now I’m reading The Guinevere Deception by Kiersten White because sometimes you just have to read the book that won’t be out for another three months.

Now, tell me about your week!
