Week in Review: October 11

missprintweekreviewThis week on the blog you can check out:

I’m happy to report that October did, in fact, start quieter than September and everything has not been at such a breakneck pace. I’ve even been working on catching up with some real life friends which has been good but I wish it wasn’t something I had to work so consciously to make time for.

This week I had to take a sick day on Tuesday (thanks allergies!) but I feel back to normal now. This week I read a lot thanks partly to the sick day. I finished Book of a Thousand Days which is a backlist title I wish I’d read earlier (it’s so much fun!), Dream Things True (a little issue-driven for my tastes but still timely and important) and City Love which I kind of loved. Parts of it were silly but I really enjoyed it–it might have been the book I was waiting for from Colasanti–I’m excited it’s the start of a trilogy too!
