Week in Review: August 2

missprintweekreviewThis week on the blog you can check out:

My blog turns 8 this month, so be sure to enter by big giveaway to help me celebrate!

This week felt at least twenty days long–especially because our air conditioner broke on Friday. Talk about bad timing.

This week I made a new best friend in Crochet Club.

I also helped with my library’s massive (and fun but exhausting) Harry Potter Birthday party on Friday. My contribution? Wearing copious amounts of blue and white/silver (Ravenclaw represent!) and making wands.

I also finally upgraded my phone so I’m the proud owner of an iPhone 6. Thanks to my other phone being 3 years old, the migration assistant was kind of disaster but starting with a clean install did give me the chance to erase a lot of un-needed apps/photos/files. I would ask you all to join me in a moment of silence for the town I lost in Pixel People–RIP all of my clones and their wacky piece of terraformed space.

I also am having a weird thing where HopStop doesn’t seem to exist anymore as an app and it’s now called Transit Tracker. Is that just me? Help?

If you want to see how my month in reading is shaking out be sure to check out my August Reading Tracker.

How was your week?

  1. The WORST thing is air conditioning going out. Ours went out a few weeks ago and it was 100+ degrees outside. I was so miserable, so I completely understand. Congrats on getting an iPhone 6! I’m jealous. :P I got a new 5S last October so I have awhile before I can get a new phone haha.

    1. omg that’s awful! It went into the 90s here and that was bad enough. I’m really happy with my iPhone 6–I got a really bad deal on my last renewal and had been using a three-year-old iPhone 5 so the change is pretty dramatic.

  2. UGGHH the air thing D: I hope it’s fixed now! I can’t imagine losing our AC right now.

Welcome to the new age of the iPhone 6! I still can’t believe I have mine, lol. Sometimes I look at the 4 sitting on my desk and go like O_O it’s so small!
