BEA 2015: The Books

I don’t usually do a detailed post about books from BEA but this year I decided I wanted to make a post and really track what I do with all of them after seeing Hannah do something similar last year.

So here’s a daily rundown of books acquired and I’ll be marking off as I read, giveaway or otherwise pass them on.

Green: books I have read and will keep

Red: books I’ve given away (duplicates or will not read)

Blue: books I have given away after reading

Check back for my recap of BEA starting tomorrow.

    1. This was actually with me being really selective (except on Friday that went out the window!). The recap is ridiculous but I had a lot of fun writing it.

  1. This is such a cute idea for a post!! I really like it. My books got so jumbled with me lacking and relax kong trying to get everything to fit that I totally lost track of what I got when, and how the heck did we not take a picture together!! Gah. Hopefully we shall meet again since we are both Northeasters. I am totally adore the Little Elliot book so much, to the point where my son has said no Elliot today Mommy 😝. I also didn’t formalize my schedule to the best of my abilities since I missed The Marvels & The Accident Season (wah) but hey I got the other pretties. It was so nice to chitty chat with you IRL!

    1. I know! I was writing my recap and all I kept thinking was “how did I not take pictures with anyone?!” I managed to take pictures of my suitcase before I unpacked it but not of friends–what? I’m glad the tote is in good hands :)

  2. Ooh, I like the idea of sorting them by day. Totally didn’t do that. I tried to be so selective, but still walked away with 93 books (not counting the 10 or so I picked up for sister and friend who couldn’t make it)! Too bad we never ran into each other. It would have been fun to meet in person. (Also, this has re-inspired me to write my BEA recap post that I’ve been planning on doing since I got back).

    1. Ah! I’m sorry to have missed you! Now you have to write the recap so we can compare notes and see if we had any almost-meetings!

  3. It looks like day 2 was the one to be at! I’m still not over the new covers for Angelini’s series – I absolutely love them and have to get Trial by Fire in paperback just because of that!

  4. Oooh I am looking forward to your recap! I got exactly 62 books also, which is kind of a fun coincidence! But I couldn’t even keep track of which books I got which day, I just piled them all up hah. I love that you have already gone through them and decided what stays and what goes- I am still going through that process ;) Very, very nice selection, I hope you love them, and I am excited to read your recaps!
