If you want to see how I’m doing with BEA 2015 books check here.
June 8: Was going to read Scorpion Rules next but weight issues mean Lady Thief gets a bump ahead.
June 10: Signed up for Summer of Series. Finished Lady Thief even though it almost gave me a nervous breakdown.
June 17: Realistically Summer of Series is going to be a wash BUT I will definitely be finishing the Scarlet series if it kills me (it might). Finished and loved PS I Still Love You so much I embarrassed myself. Astute readers will note my books on deck list is not getting smaller because I keep adding titles. Oops.
June 18: I actually am abandoning The Heir because I really just like the first trilogy as is and am moving on to Lock and Mori which actually is a scheduled read.
June 24: Still can’t express properly how much I loved Lock & Mori. Perilous Gard? Also fantastic. Starting Vengeance Road on the way home.
June 27: Finished Vengeance Road. Enjoyed a lot and stayed up too late finishing. Reading Don’t Ever Change and also started Consent which will for sure carry over into July.
June 30: Unbelievably will be finishing Consent today. Thirteen books. Win!
Ohhh how was Rebel Mechanics? I’m probably going to read that one in July. I’m curious to hear what you think of The Summer of Chasing Mermaids. I’m not really a big contemporary person but I’ve heard decent things about it so it’s been on my radar.
I loved Rebel Mechanics! It reads as a stand-alone but I really hope Swendson writes more.
So happy you loved Rebel Mechanics too :-) I hope you like Splintered! I thought it was a really fun series. I read Unmade but haven’t continued the series though I’m not sure why? Maybe the cover change? I know that’s awful but yeah, it sort of deterred me. Have a great month of reading Emma! Well, I guess the month is mostly over actually. How had June slipped by so fast?
Nooooo. Don’t remind me. I’m so behind on my reading. (I’ve been saving your review of Rebel Mechanics in my reader so I can savor good memories of that book for as long as possible!)
