Ha. Unique books is really hard because obviously I have a lot of books I like (are you shocked).
But when I saw this prompt really only two books came to mind:
The Eyre Affair by Jasper Fforde
The Thief by Megan Whalen Turner
Both books completely blew my mind and if you stick with the series the way these authors pull together plot threads and world building is simply dazzling.
