From Our Gift Cottage: Southwestern Coil Bead Bracelet

This is a weekly feature exhibiting different handmade jewelry items available for sale at my mom’s Etsy shop: Diane and Emma’s Gift Cottage. (She’s Diane and I’m Emma. We make jewelry–together!)

This week I’m showcasing a bead crochet coil bracelet:

This is a one of a kind glass bead coil bracelet. The glass seed beads are hand crocheted around a memory wire coil so the bracelet is easy to wear and will fit any wrist. It will never stretch, bend, or otherwise lose its shape.

The glass beads are South Western colors of turquoise, terracotta, blue and purple with a matte finish. It has a look of tiny stacked pots. The silver end caps have a beaded swirl design. Of all of our coil bracelets, this is my personal favorite color palette. Something about this bracelet just evokes summer and warm breezes.

These are 6/0 seed beads which are about 4mm or a little less than 1/8 inch. The thickness of the coil itself is about 1/2 inch in diameter. The crochet thread is a sturdy nylon that will last forever. This handmade beauty is exclusive to our store.

This bracelet is available for sale on ebay.
