The 50k Giveaway Starts NOW[CLOSED]

Well, readers, you did it. The blog officially reached 50,000 views at some point Saturday evening.

Now, as I mentioned earlier this week, it’s time to start the much-anticipated 50k Giveaway Bonanza here at Miss Print.

To start things off I decided to do something a little special with a prize pack of three of my favorite books from 2010.

This giveaway is for three ARCs (advanced reader’s copies–technically one is an “f and g” which is a folded and gathered advance copy of a picture book).

  1. One ARC of Green Witch by Alice Hoffman (reviewed here) which has to be one of the most beautiful looking and well-designed books of 2010.
  2. One ARC of Selling Hope by Kristin Tubb O’Donnell (reviewed here) which is one of my favorite reads from 2010.
  3. One “f and g” of My Heart is Like a Zoo by Michael Hall (reviewed here) which is just one of the all around cutest books I’ve seen this year. (Don’t believe me? Check out this trailer for scientific proof of the cuteness!)

The giveaway is open to US readers only (sorry!) and will end December 12, 2010. The winner will be notified via email on December 12 .

TO ENTER: Leave a comment below (with a valid email in the email form area) telling me one of YOUR favorites from 2010–it can be anything, seriously.

For ONE EXTRA entry post about this giveaway on twitter or your own blog and include a link in your entry here.

The winner will be selected via random number generator by Maple the Palm Pre.

UPDATE: Congratulations to the winner, Brooke!

  1. I have way too many favorite for this year, but one that is in my top ten is Wicked Girls by Stephanie Hemphill – it doesn’t get any better than retellings of the Salem Witch Trials … in verse!

  2. Well, I ended up loving Before I fall, by Lauren Oliver.

But my favorite read was the Jessica Darling series by Megan McCafferty. Not new for 2010, but new to me.

  3. Too many books to choose from…but I loved reading Autumn Winifred Oliver does Things Different (probably because I read it with a bunch of 6th graders)! Great read-aloud book.

  4. Hard to choose! I didn’t get much reading in, but I really enjoyed Clockwork Angel. Not new for 2010 OR YA, but I also read Robin Hobb’s Farseer Trilogy this year and loved it.
