On asking questions

Be sure you really want to know the answer before you ask a question.

I’m painting a large picture of a pegasus for work (long story). I showed it to my boss “Ralph” and he said it was very “cheesecake.”  Later, when he saw the finished sketch, Ralph put his hand over the top half of my sketch and said “I like the legs.”

Finally, today I decided to ask what “cheesecake” really means. Apparently it’s a reference to pin-up girls. In this particular situation, I kind of wish I hadn’t asked.
